Local elections matter because all politics are local, and we, as Catholics, are called to take an active role in civic life where our faith must inform our decisions and choices for the greater good.
Below is the most recent map of the City of Charles Town's wards (representative districts). You can easily see Saint James within city limits and the boundaries of the wards. Please take time to find your ward and be sure to study the issues and where the current elected officials stand on those issues. Furthermore, seek to learn about the candidates, including two of our parishioners, Ben Carswell and Kevin Tester, Jr., who are running for office in the City Council.

Election Day: May 25, 6:30 am - 7:30 pm in the Charles Town City Hall, 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town
We are steadily approaching the St. Martin of Tours clothing during January 2026! Volunteers needed from 01/05-01/09 to sort clothes. Instructions will be on the sorting table and volunteers can come anytime the church is open to sort clothes.
