Summer Camp Counselors Needed!

Summer Camp Youth Counselors

Young people are needed to assist us at our camps! If you are a high-school-aged (15 or older) parishioner who has been Confirmed that is seeking to improve your leadership skills, build your resume, and earn some cash—St. James needs you this summer!

Counselors-in-Training Program

We are also piloting a new program this year – Counselors-in-Training. This will be for youth ages 14-15 who would like the opportunity to work at one of our summer camps in preparation for possibly becoming a youth counselor in future years. This is strictly an unpaid volunteer position. Counselors-in-Training will work directly under the supervision of the one of the youth counselors during a specific camp. Once the week is over, feedback will be given on your strengths and what you will need to work on in order to be considered for hire the following year.

Please contact Allie Enos at or via phone at 304-725-5558 x231 to request an application or you may come into the parish office to pick up the Youth Counselor Application form. Applications are also available online here:
