Be a Docent at Historic St. Peter. Info Session on Saturday, April 29th

Our docents welcome visitors to the most-photographed church in West Virginia. They answer questions and give brief talks about the church’s history and its role in local history.

Docents may wear the 19th century period dress provided by the church or a docent polo shirt. They work in teams and choose the date
and times of their service. Training and ongoing support are provided. Docents serve an average of four 3-hour shifts during tourist season (May 27 to Oct 29) and Old Tyme Christmas (Dec 1-3 and Dec 9-10) at St. Peter Church in historic Harpers Ferry.

Join us at St. Peter on Saturday, April 29 at 9 a.m. for coffee, tea, juice, and a snack. Stay for a detailed introduction to the docent program from 9:30 a.m. to 11: 45 a.m. Parking allowed in the lot above St. Peter. No commitment is required until May 13th.
